Peter Brown, DNP, FNP-C is a board certified Doctor of Nursing Practice, Family Nurse Practitioner who has lived in North Idaho for the last 14 years. He received his Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Utah, Bachelor of Nursing from Lewis-Clark State College, and Associate of Science in Nursing from Huron University. In 1996, Peter began his career in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, where he worked in the Emergency Department and Cardiac Cath Lab before moving to Idaho. After working in the Emergency Department at Sacred Heart in Spokane and Interventional Radiology at Kootenai Health, he returned to graduate school to further his career. Peter is happily married and when not working, he and his wife enjoy traveling, being with their large family, and recently welcomed their first grandchild. Peter also enjoys restoring old cars and his current project is a 1937 Ford Roadster.
Kristen Bolling, FNP-C, MS Ed, BSN, RN is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her Master’s degree in Nursing Education from Excelsior College and her FNP certificate from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, CO. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Northern Arizona University. She served eight years in the Army as a combat medic. Her healthcare experience includes twelve years of emergency department/urgent care. She also has 7 years of mental health experience. She has a strong desire to promote wellness and be proactive in providing the most up-to-date treatment options. Kristen recently relocated to the area with her family. She enjoys spending time with family, enjoying the outdoors, and traveling.
Ezra Foss, FNP-C, MSN, BSN is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Ezra has a passion for providing hope and healing services for those seeking recovery from opioid misuse and addiction. With a high level of value and respect for each person, Ezra seeks to provide his patients with the tools that they need to succeed on their journey to recovery and freedom from addiction. His personal motto is “To heal the body prolongs life; to heal the soul creates life.” Ezra has a broad working background including caring for patients in the Emergency Department, Operating Room, clinic, and home settings. When not working, he enjoys just about anything outdoors including skiing, rock climbing, mountaineering, surfing, camping, and mountain biking.
Amy Hoffman Ford, MSN, CNP-BC is dual board certified in two specialties. She received her Masters of Science in Nursing as well as her Post Masters from Frontier Nursing University in 2016. Amy graduated with her BSN in 2000 from Montana State University and a minor in Health Sciences from the University of Arizona. She recently stepped away from her Primary Care practice in Coeur d’ Alene and ventured on an ‘around the world’ volunteering journey as a single mom for six months with her four children. She has many stories to share and has come back to join THRIVE Treatment Center. Amy has a deep passion for taking care of women.
